The Mercedes-Benz Citaro articulated bus first entered service in London on route 207 in 2002. This was followed by 11 more routes in the years to 2008. On his election as Mayor of London in May 2008, Boris Johnson decreed that these buses were to be replaced by normal vehicles, the last bendybus running on route 207 in December 2011. These magnificent vehicles, legendary in their capacity to hoover up the crowds, were driven with great skill by London's bus drivers and operated on some of the busiest routes in the capital. This DVD is a survey of all 12 routes operated by more than 400 buses belonging to 4 bus companies; Arriva London (routes 29, 38, 73 and 149), First London (routes 18 and 207), East London Bus Group/ Stagecoach (route 25) and Go-Ahead (routes 12, 436, 453, 501 and 521). No commentary, subtitles, enjoy the sights and sounds of these buses which are now part of London's transport history. Wide screen PAL (UK) system, running time 76 minutes. Price includes post/packing to UK addresses.
