The line runs from Seaton in Devon, to Colyton a distance of 3 miles (4.8 km) and most of route is on the former branch line from Seaton Junction to Seaton. The line was extended to Seaton town centre from the Riverside depot in 1975, where there is now a fully enclosed terminus that was opened in 2018. The line runs alongside the River Axe for part of the journey, there is a nature reserve on one side of the line and the river on the other side, many different types of wild birds can be seen and there are a couple of hides for bird watchers.  The 50th anniversary on 28th August 2020 was celebrated with an enhanced service featuring 7 trams in service, most of this DVD was filmed on that day.
