National Tramway Museum, Crich, this video features the Crich 60 event at the National Tramway Museum, Crich Tramway Village, Derbyshire, UK, the event celebrated the 60th anniversary of the discovery by the Tramway Museum Society of the site at Crich which was to become the home of the NTM. This event took place on 21st/22nd September 2019, 19 of the museum's trams were in action over the weekend and there were displays of Leeds and Sheffield trams in front of the tram depot. There was also the presentation of Barnsley & District Leyland bus no. 5, which dates from 1912, to the museum by the preservationist Mike Sutcliffe. London County Council tram no. 1 'Bluebird' was also on display outside the workshop, this long term restoration is nearing completion, hopefully it will be in service in 2020. An intensive service was operated on both days of the event, once again it was another great weekend at the museum. Wide screen PAL (UK) system, subtitles, no commentary, enjoy the sights and sounds of trams at Crich, running time 76 minutes.
