DVD of London days at the East Anglia Transport Museum, 6th May 2012 and the National Tramway Museum, Crich, Derbyshire 8th July 2012 featuring trams and trolleybuses from London at these 2 museums. These events commemorated the 60th anniversary of the end of the 1st generation tramway in London and the 50th anniversary of the end of trolleybus operation in London. Part 1 features 8 London trolleybuses in action at the East Anglia Transport Museum, including 'Diddler' no.1, 2 Q1 class trolleybuses 1768 & 1812, plus representatives of C2, H1, K2 and L3 classes. Newcastle Q1 no. 628 was also running, along with London tram no. 1858. Part 2 features several of the London trams in the national collection at Crich in Derbyshire. Trams running were E1 class 1622, Metropolitan Electric Tramways 'Feltham' car 331, London United Tramways 159 made a brief appearance, its place being taken by Johannesburg no. 60, masquerading as a former LCC 4 wheel car. London Tramlink works car 058 was also running, joining the cavalcade after lunch. At the end of the day there was a re-enactment of the final tram journey of 6th July 1952. Trams from Leeds, Glasgow and Blackpool were also running, covering the lunchtime period before the cavalcade. Both museums are to be congratulated on the organisation of these superb events.
