DVD1: Parts 1/2 feature the 5 traditional tram routes of Lisbon, the sightseeing trams, the Carris Museum and the 3 funiculars. Part 3 features the modern (opened 2007/8) Metro do Sul system based in Almada on the south side of the River Tagus. Part 4 features the narrow gauge beach railways on the Costa da Caparica (south of Lisbon) and the Ihla da Tavira on the Algarve coast. DVD2: Part 1 is video of the Sintra tramway which still runs it's original rolling stock from 1904, parts 2/3 deal with the heritage tram operation in Porto together with the tramcar museum at Massarelos, plus film of the Porto Metro system which was first opened in 2002 and now consists of 6 lines. The 'Funicular dos Guindais is also covered. Part 4 features trolleybuses in Coimbra, the last surviving system in Portugal. Total running time 149 minutes, PAL (UK) system, wide screen format these DVD's were filmed between 2008 and 2011. No commentary, subtitles, enjoy the sights and sounds of Portuguese trams and light railways.
