Excerpts from this DVD on Youtube.

This DVD was filmed in 2013 , the first part features the Douglas Horse Tramway which runs along Douglas Promenade from the Sea Terminal to Derby Castle where it terminates adjacent to the MER station. Toastrack, enclosed saloon and the double deck tram are all featured, showing the last surviving horse tram operation in the world. The 2nd part features scenes from the Manx Electric Railway which runs from Derby Castle, Douglas to Laxey and on to Ramsey in the north of the island. All the operational rolling stock is featured plus some of the non-operational trams stored in Derby Castle depot. This 3 ft. gauge 17.75 mile long line is very scenic and in 2013 celebrated 120 years of operation, original trams nos. 1/2 are shown in service. Part 3 features the Snaefell Mountain Railway which runs from Laxey station to the summit of Snaefell which is 2036 ft. above sea level. The railway was opened in 1895 and the 6 trams built for the line still operate today, albeit rebuilt with new electrical equipment and bogies in the late 1970's. Wide screen, PAL UK system, no commentary, subtitles, enjoy the sights and sounds of trams on the Isle of Man. Total running time 75 minutes.
