Electric tram operation at the National Tramway Museum started on the 5th July 1964 when Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramroad Company 'Rack' No. 2 became the first electric tram to carry passengers at the museum. The 50th anniversary of this event was celebrated over the weekend of 13th/14th September 2014 when up to 25 trams were in operation each day plus cavalcades of 25 trams on the 13th and 27 trams on the 14th took place, plus the launch of the museums latest acquisition, Blackpool Jubilee car no. 762. This DVD features the cavalcades from from both days plus scenes of the trams in service during both days of the event, this was truly a weekend to remember.
