This DVD covers the following events that took place at the museum in 2014 and 2015, each of which featured the launch of a tram that had been overhauled after being out of service for some time.
Part 1: Best of Sheffield, 18th May 2014, this event marked the return to service of 'Sheffield's Last Tram', Roberts car no. 510, which dates from 1950. Other Sheffield trams in service included Starbuck horse tram no.15, early electric car no. 74, works car no. 330, and Sheffield 'Standard' car no. 189 was exhibited outside the depot on the traverser.
Part 2: London Weekend 13th/14th June 2015. This weekend saw the return to service of London County Council tram no. 106, again after a complete overhaul. Other London trams in service included London United Tramways no. 159, Metropolitan Electric Tramways 'Feltham' car no. 331, and London Transport E/1 tram no. 1622. There were also a number of London buses in attendance plus trolleybus no. 1348 which was displayed on the depot fan.
Part 3: TMS60, 19th September 2015. This event celebrated the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Tramway Museum Society, the organisation responsible for the National Tramway Museum. This event also saw the launch into setvice of Liverpool Corporation 'Liner' no. 869, this tram had also run in Glasgow after the Liverpool system had closed in 1956. Many other trams from the museum collection were also in service and there was a display of open top trams on the depot fan including some trams from the exhibition hall that are rarely seen outside in daylight.
