This DVD covers the Manchester Metrolink Trafford Park Line which opened in March 2020, and the Eccles line which opened in 1999/2000 and 2010 (Media City branch). There are scenes of trams in action on both lines plus a passenger eye view of both routes, both of which run through areas that have been completely regenerated in the last few decades. In 2021 the Trafford Park route was running from Cornbrook to the Trafford Centre, new trams are being delivered and when enough of these are available the route will be extended to Crumpsall on the Bury line, where a siding has been constructed to act as a terminus for the route. The trams bought for the Eccles line were originally the T68A type, these were all withdrawn (along with the T68 trams) by 2014/5, since then Metrolink has only operated the Bombardier M5000 type which were introduced in 2009, there will be 147 of these trams when the current order is completed. The final part of the DVD is a visit to the Heaton Park museum tramway in August 2021, Hull no. 96 was the tram in service running on the route from the Middleton Road park gates to the Lakeside terminus. Subtitles, no commentary, enjoy the sights and sounds of trams in and around Manchester, wide screen, PAL UK system, total running time 65 minutes.
