Filmed in September 2021, this DVD features buses in action in the Scottish cities of Aberdeen, Dundee, and Glasgow. All three cities have a rich transport history with Glasgow at one time having one of the largest tramway systems in the UK. Aberdeen and Dundee also had somewhat smaller tramway systems, all were however converted to motor bus, and in the case of Glasgow, a small trolleybus system which was also later converted to bus operation. Today the descendents of the corporation transport systems live on in the form of First Aberdeen, Xplore Dundee, and First Glasgow. Other prominent operators in these cities incude Stagecoach, and McGills of Greenock, who own Xplore Dundee. Also featured is the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Museum, two former Glasgow Corporation buses can be seen on the route connecting the museum with the city centre. Subtitles, no commentary, wide screen, PAL UK system, running time 68 minutes. Enjoy the sights and sounds of buses in Aberdeen, Dundee, and Glasgow.
